This makes Miami be the fifth lounge in the Centurion Lounge Network. The glass front stretches along the whole lounge. You can watch the planes taking off right in front of you. This Centurion Lounge offers a great view out on to the tarmac and runway. I have previously written about the extremely crowded Centurion lounges and what Amex should about that so I can’t knock them for at least trying to expand the space but I certainly hope the closure will be quick and efficient because Miami is terrible if you don’t have the lounge access there.ĭelta fliers can at least avail themselves to the Sk圜lub but other than that… Priority Pass isn’t much to write home about even though the $30 credit are night and certainly enough for a quick snack and drink.Yesterday I got the chance to attend the opening of the Centurion Lounge at MIA before it opened up to the public. In concourse J there is the Avianca Lounge as well the VIP Lounge accessible per Priority Pass. This might be a decent option if you frequent that particular gate area. If you are coming from another terminal, you must re-enter through security with either a connecting or onward boarding pass.Īlternatively there is a Priority Pass restaurant available at the D gates, the Corona Beach House which offers a US$30 F&B credit per person. It is accessible via the SkyTrain within the D Concourse. In Miami the Centurion Lounge is located in Concourse D, near Gate D12.
